Standing Tall In A Storm

I tried to paint each kernel of this decorative corn as a shining gem making them look more colorful while maintaining the smooth semi-transparent texture of the kernels. The overcast sky in the background gives a feeling like some storm is approaching and the corn looks as if it is standing confidently ready to face all difficult times. It is certainly one of my most favorite. - Meeta
